El Capitan State Park

John, we should go camping as soon as i get into LA. Think about where you want to go. I think this site is so far my favorite but let me know if you find somewhere else you'd like to go.

I am ready for SPRING! Alice Goldsmith just came to visit and now that she is gone I cannot believe she does not live closer. I doubt I convinced her to move into Estellita room. She and I went to this amazing place just a few minutes from my house (http://www.bartramsgarden.org). I cannot believe that I used to run to the graveyard instead of coming here. Guess who the franklinia flower is named after? Life changing decision #1: change directions...literally! Philly has such an amazing history of being the first to do so many things: municipal water systems, fire department, national bank, home of John Bartram the first botanist, the list goes on. I even went to my friends clothing store/gallery. They hosted a talk by the Historian of Philadelphia Breweries with free beer. Philly is not the first american brewery but pretty close, too bad Brewerytown doesn't exhist any longer. Their store always has themed gallery shows, last month was all about Abraham Lincoln. Similar to the change in the weather, I am starting to warm up to Philadelphia again.

Since I just finished my printmaking class I though I'd share a couple of prints from the course. Sorry the pics are kinda wack, im no photographer.

...my apt...

...just for kicks, here I am milking a cow with two of my favorite campers. hahaha.

LOVE

Note to Joan: I can't wait to see you in NYC. I wish the whole family was there too!
